YOUTH TRYOUTS 2019
2019 is here with Spring/Summer sessions now emerging, the Academy is looking forward to start Tryouts for the upcoming Rhema Football Club (AFC Rhema)

Ages: U14-17 (Boys & Girls)
Fee: Free
Time: May 25th 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
May 27th; 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
May 28th; 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm @ Baxter Park (777 Engelhart Dr, Madison, WI 53713)
The sole purpose of this is to create a FIFA ELITE YOUTH TEAM/SQUAD in the Greater area for upcoming league and tournament competitions in the Midwest and the Rhema International Travel Team. Also for upcoming tournaments and competitions for the 2018-2019 season. We are looking for dedicated, motivated and committed youth soccer players to compete in competitive soccer and further their abilities, leadership talents and skills to the next level both national and international.
This is one our main sources of recruiting young, aspiring and talented players.
To to be considered for a trial, the following procedure will apply:
Players between the age of 9 and 19 years are asked to send their information to the Academy, including the following details:
- Your name
- Your age and date of birth
- Your contact address and telephone number
- The current club you play for
- The school you attend
- The position you play
- A list of forthcoming fixtures you will be playing in
Use this chart to determine your child’s age grouping. Age groupings stay the same for a soccer year (fall of one year through spring of the next–like a school year).
Upon receiving the information, the recruitment staff will process information and contact applicant.
Trials will be conducted in such a way that the player will showcase their skill, discipline and intelligence and potential to play at Academy level. An approach will be made to your manager and parents and you will be invited in for further discussions.
The trial will last for a maximum of two weeks during which time the player will train and play with the current registered players in your age group.
During your trial period you will be monitored by your age group coach, the assistant Academy manager, Academy manager and recruitment staff.
A decision will be made within three weeks whether to sign you as a Rhema player or release you from your trial and monitor you at your Saturday/Sunday club.
